Missed appointments

During the last 2 months we have had 378 missed appointments, totalling 7214 minutes.

This equates toover 120 hours of clinician’s time and includes many appointments which were classed as an urgent on the day appointment.

This is despite us sending out text reminders which now give the option to CANCEL, via text message, any unwanted appointments without having to phone the Surgery.

Due to demand on GP Surgeries and the well documented lack of staff we simply cannot afford to lose these precious minutes.

PLEASE if you are unable to attend or no longer need your appointment LET US KNOW. Someone in need would be immensely grateful to be offered it.
