The Filey Surgery is proud to have achieved the Armed Forces Veteran Friendly Practice Accreditation. Please inform a member of the reception team if you are a veteran so we can add this to your medical record. This helps your GP to better understand any military related health conditions that you may have. It also ensures that you are referred, where appropriate, to dedicated health and wellbeing services for veterans.

Veteran ID card
An HM Armed Forces Veteran Card is a way for patients to prove that they have served in the UK Armed Forces. The card can make it quicker and easier to access support and veterans’ services, and it’s free to apply. See HM Armed Forces Veteran Card: Overview – GOV.UK to get more information on what you can do with a card, how to apply and also how to obtain a digital version of your Veteran card.
